Women’s Weekend 2023

Save the date! We have begun planning for the second annual women's weekend, Connecting Women, Connecting Nature. It has been a little over a year since a group of dynamic, outdoor-oriented women gathered to learn, collaborate and recreate together at the AMC Noble View Outdoor Center in Russell, Massachusetts. This joyous group participated in workshops on nature journaling, creative writing, bike repair, drumming, compass reading and yoga. Outdoor pursuits such as hiking and canoeing rounded out the activities. Delicious food, songs around the fire, kindness and camaraderie completed the weekend. This year, we are excited to be collaborating on this event with Women Outdoor, a nonprofit that promotes women's leadership, friendship, adventure and enjoyment in the great outdoors. This is a women-only event that uses an inclusive definition of women. We respectfully welcome all women including non-binary, gender non-conforming, transwomen and individuals who identify as a woman as the best expression of themselves.
