As a passionate climber, I have had the opportunity to explore some of the best climbing destinations in the Northeast. Among my favorite places to climb are Farley MA, North Conway (NH), and the Shawagunks (NY). Each of these locations offers unique challenges and stunning views that make them a must-visit for any climbing enthusiast. Farley MA – also known as Farley Ledges – is a hidden gem located in Erving, Massachusetts. This climbing spot is known for its high-quality granite rock formations and diverse range of routes for climbers of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced climber, Farley MA offers something for everyone. The peaceful setting surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of running water makes it a truly magical place to climb. North Conway is another favorite climbing destination of mine. Known for its rugged terrain and challenging routes, this spot is perfect for those looking for a more adventurous climbing experience. The White Mountains provide a stunning backdrop for climbers as they navigate through the granite cliffs and boulders. With a variety of routes ranging from easy to difficult, North Conway offers something for climbers of all abilities. Lastly, the Shawagunks Mountains - also known as the Gunks - is a world-renowned climbing destination located in New York. With its iconic quartz cliffs and unique rock formations, the Gunks attract climbers from all over the world. The area offers over 1,000 routes to choose from, ranging from easy to extremely difficult. The breathtaking views of the Hudson Valley make climbing in the Gunks an unforgettable experience. Whether you are looking for a peaceful climbing experience, a challenging adventure, or a world-class climbing destination, Farley MA, North Conway, NH, and Shawagunks NY have something to offer for every climber. These three locations have captured my heart and continue to inspire me to push my limits and explore new heights in the world of climbing.
