Exciting News for Our Beloved Trails in the Pioneer Valley and Berkshire County

The Kestrel Land Trust and the Appalachian Mountain Club will continue their partnership to maintain the Robert Frost Trail and New England National Scenic Trail in the only place where these regional trails overlap, Skinner and Mt. Holyoke Range State Parks. This project will improve the quality of two popular long-distance trails and enhance the day-to-day user experience. Grant funding also includes equipment for the Pittsfield State Forest, improvements to mountain biking trails in Charlemont, trail improvements in Dalton, and a ridge runner position on the A.T. in the Berkshires.
