Senators Rausch and Rush have introduced amendments that would increase DCR's budget by a full $22 million over last year, as recommended by Governor Healey and AMC. AMC also supports an amendment led by Senator Gobi to increase funding for DCR's watershed management program that supports clean drinking water. Massachusetts ranks last in the nation per capita for funding state and local parks.
