A.T. Corridor Maintenance

Work will be off-trail on hilly terrain with some cliffy areas. Work will involve clipping brush and cutting small limbs. Map and compass skills may be helpful, but definitely not required. Expect wet feet and dress for a full day in the woods in unexpected weather. Bring lunch/snack and water to drink. Take precautions against ticks by treating outerwear with permethrin following the manufacturer's instructions. Check for ticks soon after arriving at home. Heavy rain will cancel. Total hike distance, approx 5 miles. Pace will be moderate to slow.
