Marian spent 15 years primarily working in the retail and education space, building their career as a Single Pitch Instructor. They are now the co-founder and Executive Director of Rise Outside, a non-profit guide service outside of New Paltz, NY. Rise Outside's mission is to create mentorship opportunities for diverse outdoor leaders and fund programming for groups who have traditionally encountered barriers to realizing their potential outside.
